In the primary-teacher arm of Bengal's recruitment cases, the CBI investigated manipulation of TET 2014 results. The board's former president was arrested by the ED in October 2022. In 2024 the board's own counsel told Calcutta High Court that the ex-president had decided to destroy OMR copies of TET 2014 without informing board members; the court ordered the CBI to attempt recovery of the digitised sheets.
