The tubewell operator recruitment exam scheduled for 364 centres on 2 September 2018 was postponed hours before it began after the UP STF learnt the paper was out. Eleven people, including a primary school teacher described by police as the organiser, were arrested in Meerut; police said the paper was sold for about Rs 7 lakh per candidate. An FIR was lodged in Lucknow and the commission announced a fresh schedule.
