The Junior Engineer (Civil) 2020 recruitment exam was cancelled over a leak and re-conducted in September 2021. In January 2026, Rajasthan SOG disclosed that the retest itself had been compromised: an assistant engineer of the PWD, who secured the 12th rank in the retest and was later promoted, was arrested and is alleged to have used a leaked paper and played a role in the leak network. The SOG registered a fresh FIR on 19 January 2026.
