Confidence C — based on the press record (archived below). No primary documents on file yet; treat names of agencies, dates and figures as reported, not established.
NEET-UG 2026, written by about 22.7 lakh aspirants on 3 May 2026, was cancelled by the NTA on 12 May after Rajasthan Police's Special Operations Group found that 100+ biology and chemistry questions from a pre-circulated 'guess paper' of 400+ questions matched the actual paper. A Sikar chemistry teacher reported the overlap. Arrests followed in Jaipur, and 45 people were detained in Latur and Nashik. The CBI took over on 12 May. A nationwide re-examination was scheduled for 21 June 2026.
