Karnataka II PUC Chemistry 2016 — leaked twice in ten days

Stalled documented status: Arrests made

Confidence B — core facts citable to court or official records; some primary documents not yet on file.

The II PUC chemistry paper leaked twice: the 21 March 2016 sitting was voided the same day after the paper circulated on WhatsApp, and the 31 March re-exam was cancelled on the morning of the exam when that paper leaked too. The exam was finally held on 12 April under heavy security. The CID probe led to arrests including department insiders; students protested statewide demanding accountability.
