JEE Main 2021: remote-access solving racket at a chosen centre
Confidence C — based on the press record (archived below). No primary documents on file yet; treat names of agencies, dates and figures as reported, not established.
The CBI booked a private edtech firm and its directors for manipulating JEE (Main) 2021: solvers answered candidates' papers via remote-access software from a chosen exam centre in Sonepat, in connivance with centre staff, for Rs 12–15 lakh per candidate, with mark sheets and post-dated cheques held as security. Searches ran at 20 locations and seven people were arrested in the first days. NTA withheld results of suspect candidates.
